What does this all mean?
Well, it means that the wait is finally over. You can now use ParticipAid to:
- recruit for your research studies (if you're a researcher)
- find studies to participate in (anyone can do this - yes, even researchers)
It takes time to get it right. Design, privacy, ethics, scalability, features, speed – when building the foundation of ParticipAid, all of these things have been carefully considered with the participant and the researcher in mind.
Whether you are a researcher or a participant, your selfless actions drive discoveries and ultimately save lives. We aspire to reduce the barriers to this altruistic pursuit. We're excited to be a part of this community.
...and this is just the start. We have a lot of exciting things coming your way.

Who are we?
When we first started off with just an idea on a notepad, we were a small group –
Rene Ramirez, a brilliant developer
Dr. Anthony Nazarov, a mental health researcher
Erica Tatham, an aspiring clinical psychologist
and Maroof Moral, a scientist-turned-creative-genius.
Over time, we've grown into a collective – a collective that's passionate about improving research participation. As we grew, throughout the entire time, we prioritized local Canadian🍁 talent to build ParticipAid. ParticipAid is proudly built in-house by aspiring local developers:
Humber College Capstone Team (Deepti, Sunny, Yashica, Reema, Vu)
Many individuals represent the core dev and design team @ ParticipAid. Thank you for your contributions!
Advisors and Support
Along the way, we've had unwavering support from many organizations, groups, and individuals, for which we are very thankful.
